Welcome to the University of Indianapolis (UIndy)! Whether you’ve decided to change careers and become a nurse, or if you’re advancing your nursing career, you’ll find our commitment to excellence in our innovative curricula, state-of-the-art simulation technology, transformative learning opportunities, and desirable specializations.

The world of health care is constantly evolving. We are meeting today’s health care challenges and planning for tomorrow’s changes with the same collaborative spirit that has defined this institution for more than a century. This spirit is ingrained in our mission and values and is fundamental to our culture of integrity, agility, and creativity.

UIndy’s “Education for Service” motto is deeply rooted in the nursing curriculum. Our clinical nursing programs encourage students to serve at a higher level through compassionate primary care practice. Our non-clinical nursing programs improve patient lives and influence nursing through service and innovation. Through it all, we support you with the resources and tools you need to thrive throughout your educational experience and succeed in roles in patient care, education, and leadership.

UIndy has always strived to prepare students to make a difference in the world and to reach their full potential. That’s why we continue to be diligent in our efforts to identify needs and opportunities to broaden access to quality education, prepare students for meaningful careers, and work to address the challenges in today’s society.

We’re so pleased you’ve chosen UIndy to empower your career to save lives and transform health care. We look forward to supporting you on your academic journey and remain steadfast in our mission to prepare you for excellence and leadership in both your personal and professional lives.
