Areas of Expertise

Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care

Background

I have been in nursing for over 20 years, working in geriatrics, pediatrics, NICU, and the Emergency Department. My love for teaching began when I was recruited to help teach and orientate new RNs in the Emergency Department. I originally was going to get my Education degree, however, I still wanted to care for patients so I took the Family Nurse Practitioner track. During my time as a graduate student, I began working as adjunct faculty and have stayed on ever since.
